Christoph Rehage attempted to walk from Beijing to his homeland Germany, and spent a year on foot!
While never actually finishing his original goal, Christoph still walked (with a few setbacks) from Beijing to Urumqi from November 9, 2007 to November 13, 2008. He traveled in total a distance of 2,885 miles!
