Alex Donnelley is dating Billy Joel. According to Page Six, Donnelley met Joel backstage at a concert and "The two hit it off immediately,". They have been seen together at Joel's home riding motorcycles and going boating.
Alex Donnelley was on the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" from 1986-2001. She played Diane Jenkins on the show.
Billy Joel is not the first musician Alex Donnelley has been with. She was previously married to Robert Lamm from the band Chicago.
Donnelley is 49 and much older than Joel's soon to be ex-wife Katie Lee Joel. Katie is only 27 years old. Perhaps an older woman is just what Billy Joel needs.

Last month it was announced thatBilly and Katie Lee Joel were getting divorced. Unconfirmed reports claim that Katie Lee was spending too much time with a designer named Yigal Azrouel. Billy's reps said the "decision to separate was absolutely unrelated to Yigal,"
Billy's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel was not surprised when her dad told her he was getting divorced. She told Ok! Magazine "I have a pretty good women’s intuition so I could tell," adding "I know my dad very well. So I’m behind him, you know."
