A memorial for Michael Jackson will be tentatively held this weekend at Neverland Ranch. On Thursday morning, Michael Jackson's body will be moved by a 30 car motorcade to Neverland Ranch on
preparation for his public viewing starting on Friday, according to CNN. The family will hold a private memorial at Neverland on Sunday.
**UPDATE** New reports this morning on the Today show said the memorial for Michael Jackson may be pushed off a few days.
Many residents of Santa Barbara County, where Neverland is located, are very unhappy that a public memorial is taking place. They feel the crowds will overwhelm their roads and do not want the sudden surge of visitors.

There has been much speculation that Michael Jackson will be buried at Neverland after his funeral. Neverland could turn into the new Graceland where fans could travel to pay respects to Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson has said that Michael Jackson will not be buried at Neverland.The Jackson family has not publicly released where they intend to bury Michael's body. There is some indication that he will be buried in his hometown of Gary, Indiana.

Michael Jackson purchased Neverland Ranch in 1987. He added many exotic animals. Jackson added two trains, a Ferris wheel, merry-go round, bumper cars as well as many other rides for him to enjoy.
Neverland Ranch is named for the fictional world in the book "Peter Pan" .
All of the exotic animals and amusement rides were removed from Neverland a few years ago. The removal came after Michael Jackson sold part of Neverland to an investment company.
Tom Barrack Jr., the billionaire who engineered Jackson's financial rescue last year and gained control of the ranch through his company, said the property's future will be discussed later, CNN reporte
